A woman in Cypress, Texas, was followed and robbed after withdrawing $3,000 from a Chase bank on Saturday. The incident occurred while she was inside a restaurant, and the robbers broke into her car and stole the money. The woman’s Tesla captured the entire incident on its cameras, from the moment she withdrew the cash to when the robbers started following her. The woman said she purposely parked her car in front of the restaurant’s door, unaware that she was being followed. She left the envelope of money in the center console of her car because she did not have secure pockets or a purse. Another lady in the restaurant noticed the break-in and alerted the woman, who ran out to her car but was too late. The woman believes she was targeted because she had the envelope of money in her possession. She has filed a police report with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office but is still waiting for a detective to be assigned to her case. The woman is asking for the public’s help in catching the robbers.
