A Corporate Finance Training Series is being organized to enhance the understanding of associates in the field of Corporate Finance. The session, titled “Collateral Documents II: Security Agreements, Pledge Agreements, & Guarantees,” is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET.

The session will be conducted by Bruce Steinert, a Partner at Troutman Pepper, and Adrienne Beatty, an Associate at the firm. The purpose of the training series is to equip associates with an advanced understanding of various aspects of the Corporate Finance practice. Corporate Finance associates are expected to attend, and all Corporate associates are welcome to join.

The session will cover topics such as security agreements, pledge agreements, and guarantees. These are important legal documents often utilized in corporate finance transactions to secure loans and protect the rights of lenders.

Participants will gain insights into the key provisions and documentation requirements of security agreements, pledge agreements, and guarantees. Additionally, they will learn about the practical implications and legal considerations associated with these documents.

The training session has been approved for MCLE credit for multiple states, including California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Troutman Pepper will automatically seek credit in states where the firm has office locations, unless state restrictions apply. Participants from other jurisdictions may be eligible for credit upon request.

Certificates for CLE credits will be distributed within 30 business days to participants licensed in California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and/or Pennsylvania. Those with questions regarding CLE credits are encouraged to email CLE Management.
