New York fintech company, DailyPay, has announced plans to create 293 jobs in Northern Ireland. The company, which helps employers give workers more flexible access to their pay, opened an office in Belfast last year. It is now investing £24m ($33m) in the new operation, with support from Invest NI. DailyPay is hiring staff in customer support, product, and engineering, with two-thirds of the roles in customer support. The company has already recruited 100 staff and aims to have all roles in place by mid-2025. The new jobs are expected to deliver over £12m in additional salaries to the local economy.
