Jabil Inc. is partnering with fintech firm Revolut to enhance the development and production of an innovative mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution. The collaboration will allow Revolut to expand its merchant acquiring capabilities and accelerate its global growth. Jabil’s custom, pre-certified POS hardware platform, known as Revolut Reader, enables merchants to accept in-store and on-the-go payments. The lightweight and compact reader supports chip, PIN, contactless, and mobile payments, and offers secure transactions in seconds. The platform is designed for small to medium-sized merchants and can be integrated with existing POS systems. Jabil and Revolut will continue to collaborate on manufacturing and new features based on Revolut’s product roadmap.
